The Vitrine: Sidewalk Screening was curated to inaugurate a new series of Vitrine solo exhibitions at Plexus Projects. Vitrine included short videos and animations from both local and international artists and was presented for Greenpoint Gallery Night. The artworks were screened as video projections through the Plexus Projects storefront window and viewed from the street. The selected videos and animations employ the use digital technologies including 3D scanning and modeling, motion capture, physical computing, data-driven and generative imaging, custom software, motion graphics, experimental image processing, as well as conventional video editing. The 60-minute program looped throughout the evening and began with Greenpoint artist Marit Mei-tsan Stafstrom.
