Catheter Bag Cozy is a mixed media installation with a speculative apparatus that pumps a continuous flow of blue liquid through clear vinyl tubing. The tubing begins as a tidy ball of "yarn" holding knitting needles and flows through a hand-knit cozy wrapped around a catheter bag. The liquid continually drips onto cotton padding that is hand-embroidered with the text "familiarity breeds contempt". The photographs allude to the absorbency tests of hygiene product advertisements.
